a level of 3, but is wiling to go down to NOTHING, as to points accumulated, in order to gain information and knowledge from others, instead of shining like a star, because they had gathered So Many points for themselves?

Would you consider this person, a fool?
A person who'd give less than a fig about accumulating points, as if they were kudos or feathers in their cap?
Greedy for the sake of being greedy?
Competitive in a different type of way?
Not giving a d@mn about what the game to gain is all about?
Crazy?
Wasteful?
Or what else?
You folks out there, be the judge!

Why should he have to go down to nothing? Do you mean by asking so many more questions than he answers, or do you mean by asking questions that get him deleted because they violate Community Guidelines?

I would call him ill-advised, at the very least. Why not use this program the way it is designed? The points are not really the important thing, but they tell you, by when you get them and when you pay them, what is being encouraged and discouraged. The maximum number of points can be gained by asking only when you have something significant to ask, and by answering well enough that many of your answers are selected as best, and receive a great many thumbs up ratings. The reason that's how you get a lot of points is that the program is designed around people doing that.
