It is a 5 letter word...

take the end letters out...it is still the same...
take the middle letter out...still the same...

not much to do with spelling...

How about "BeeBe"?
It'sm a propper noun, and since spelling isn't important it would change to "Bee-b" or "Bebe"
I'm not even close am I?
