You're not 'bad', just acting inappropriately if you give in to that urge in a nice restaurant. I also have to say that I would prefer to eat at home when I eat certain foods like ribs or chicken. There just isn't any mannerly, lady-like way to eat that sort of food! Maybe when you eat at a nicer restaurant you will have to consider ordering something that can be eaten and enjoyed in spite of the fact that you will have to use utensils! Order the boneless, skinless chicken in a seasoning you like or a broiled fish or sliced beef -- anything that you can cut easily into bite-size girlie pieces! When in Rome sweetie! But I'm with you, there's nothing like take out comfort food at the kitchen table with someone you love!

It depends on what you are eating and where. Etiquette and respect for those around you should direction your actions. Eating with one's fingers at inappropriate times is like eating with your mouth open. Manners are a sign of maturity. As an adult, lack of them is a sign of rudeness.

i think for you, and that i think of if it fairly is as undesirable because it sounds, it fairly is no longer merely a small venture. there's a element the place human beings pass from "annoying" to "my God, this is the scariest ingredient i've got ever seen in my freakin' existence, conceal the babies!" If his table manners are relatively out-of-bounds atrocious, he could hit upon in boot camp that it fairly is no longer merely you who thinks he eats like an orangutan. youthful adult adult males like that at the instant are not precisely dainty eaters yet breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a guy who slurps hamburgers---he's going to get some comments. you won't observe any distinction while he gets lower back, nonetheless. permit's settle for it, he did no longer learn how to consume like that throughout the time of each and every week, and he's been doing it for 18+ years. Any differences (if there are any) would be sluggish. the undeniable fact that he's now eating with human beings outdoors his kin on a well-known foundation could help. one among his acquaintances could some day ought to describe "dude, you're caught cleansing out the bilge because you freaked out the CO interior the mess hall, and he thinks you're sub-human." in specific circumstances the international will coach instructions that your loved ones can no longer. Is his mom obtainable? is this some thing you are going to be able to desire to ask her approximately? Lord help you if his comprehensive kin eats like this. i'm hoping no longer. She could have attempted to appropriate him over the years and in case you come lower back off sounding like her--even once you're exact---he's going to be protective and obdurate. you is fairly no longer speaking on your fiance/husband, you would be chatting with a splash boy. he would be replaying that deal over in his head. that is why he acted like he did once you spoke to him approximately it. interior the long term, it can not be solvable. provide it it sluggish first and then if he remains thoroughly grossing you out at mealtime, this is advisable to objective extra drastic measures. yet provide it a great gamble--and that i propose an prolonged risk---before you do something like eating one after the other or no longer eating out at great places with him.
