The human eye requires at least some visible light to be able to do it's work.

With no light, there is nothing for the retina/iris to react to...

If there is no light at all that is present in the room,you will be as good as blind.If the room is not completely black,then yes,your eyes will adjust.But it will adjust to the light it sees.

If there is no light as all, then your eyes cannot dilate, which increases the vision field. However, if there is a residual light or from a distance, our eyes can adjust. Otherwise, I would answer No.

The sensors in you eyes react to energy in the visible light spectum. If there is no energy source in this spectrum, the sensors will not react and your eyes will see nothing.

Well, your eyes will open the pupils to the maximum but that will not help if there is no light.

Technically if there is ABSOLUTELY no light then it is impossible to see anything. Vision is based on light, even the colors we see are baesd on light. So, no, because w/o any light whatsoever it is impossible to see.

Duh! Everyone knows that! I have been in dark rooms at bedtime. At first it was hard to see. Then later everything became more clear.
