Old friends are the best because they've been with you for a long time so they know basically everything about you, and they can be great at giving advice when you need it since they know you so well. New friends are great too, and it's definately fun to get to know new people. However, new friends often become old friends when you know them for a while so you can get the best of both worlds.

Both...as you grow you change, however the old friends still view you as the old you. Then again, the old friends know why do some of the things you do. They become like family...except better.
That's why it's both...so why choose?

it depends old friends you share a deeper connection with, they know more about you and know your sense of humor etc. but old friends can grow distant with years
New friends are just that exciting and new... no mystery there...
As far as my opinion it's old friends. A friend of mine I haven't seen since middle school just got in touch with me a couple of years ago. Although we really don't see each other because of distance I've come to find that we are still as close if not closer than we used to be. We can talk about anything and everything together, and we have history with our friendship

Old friends are better they been ther for u through everythin g. But, new friends are ok if u think u can trust them like you do your old friends. what ways that u can trust them with whatever u tell them , that they won't go and tell everyone what u told them, thats old friends, new ones 2 if u trust them this way.

Old friends of course. Because they've been tried and tested. So called "new friends" are much more likely than the old ones to be enemies in disguise.

Old friends. They are like favorite clothes or shoes, tried, tested, and found to be perfectly satisfactory in every way! New ones may or may not measure up in the long run.
