buy printable iron-on transfer paper. it fits into most printers.

be forewarned, it lasts for 1-2 washings.

You can print onto special A4 fabric mounted on paper (available from Patchwork suppliers) which will feed through a printer, and then you could appliqué the letters on, but they don't take a lot of washing. The previous answer is probably best.

I sometimes print out the letters, then use a light box or a window to trace them onto the fabric with fabric paints or laundry marker.
