Together for 11 years and engaged. Long story short, he's scared of commiting (high school sweethearts) and is acting out. Do you think he just needs some space without me calling and stuff to realize what he has??? Pls share your stories. Thanks!

very common issue - even gals need space too. Yes - you can have "too much" of a good thing, so that space is frequently useful "breather" Stories would be too long and personal to share here - email me if you wish

Since you are high school sweethearts and together longer than a lot of married people, have either of you ever been w/ other people sexually?? Maybe he is wondering about sex w/another since being engaged or dating is one thing, but being married is a whole different story. Don't get me wrong though... he loves you and wants you... guys just get nervous and all that b4 they get married... My husband and I have been married for 14 years but we only dated for 11 months when we eloped to Vegas... we had both been in other relationships with others b4 we married... so when we got together we knew that we were what each other needed. Your fiance sounds like a good guy... don't worry you will marry him and he will realize your all he ever needed. Good Luck.

Girl, you've been together and engaged 11 years and he still ain't ready to committ?? THat man has committ-aphobia, lol! How much more damn time does he need another 11 years and you can retire together. Tell him to get his **** square and if he can't move on, yousound like you have been more than patient.

WOW,..... everyone needs their own space. I was engaged for five years, and thought that was a long time, you win, also I was married for 30 years, getting a divorce from him, oh well.

Sorry to break it to you, yet a great style of those cute little cuddles, kissies, compliments ..do flow away once you marry. adult adult males frequently purely do it interior the commencing up of a dating. Your guy purely occurred to provide up till now the marriage. this could take place in all marriages so its no longer necesarily a deal breaker. have self assurance me, it extremely is a wifes significant puppy peeve. yet once you the two extremely love one yet another and he's an outstanding, unswerving and hardworking guy then definetly flow on with the marriage.. marriage could be pleasurable and delightful devoid of all of the little mushies..it could nonetheless be very loving.

No, mine wanted to rush right into it. I was the one who kept breaking off. We didn't know each other very well as you did though. We were more like off and on acquaintances over the years, meaning we knew who the other was at schools, till we went to college together the year we were engaged and married.

i think after 11 yrs he either wants to commit or doesn't and i think not. thats an excuse he uses scared of commitment. he knows you well and been with you that long, why not make it legal. i stayed with my hubby 1 year and we married. when you stay that long they feel they dont have to marry you, as they have everything so why bother.

Eleven years is plenty of time for him to decide if he wants to be with you or not. Life is too short to be in a relationship that is in "limbo" because he cannot decide if he wants to committ to you. You deserve someone who knows without a doubt that life cannot be good unless you are in it. Obviously, your boyfriend has not reached that conclusion. It's up to you, but I would move on.
