Every now and then before it died I would have to press my clutch in and then let it out and press it again to get it to turn over. Don't know if that had anything to do with it or not. Battery has goo voltage.

Many things could like a fuse. Can you bump start? if so its most likely something with power not getting to the starter solenoid. If it does not start that way then you might have multiple of even one problem but without doing any tests dont really have a better route

When it does not start, you have to find where you are dropping voltage and to which circuit you are dropping. The easiest things to look at are battery connections, all motor grounding connections, and starter connections for being tight and corrosion free. If all are good, check for the power supply to the start terminal at the starter when it won't start, if you have good voltage, it is the starter. If you have low or no voltage, you have a resistance problem or an open connection back of the starter. Supsect areas like across the ignition switch, clutch safety switch, and even any security measures that have been installed. Good luck.

The 95 Chevy S-10 has a switch on the clutch pedal that makes it so the car cannot be started without the clutch in. This switch is probably bad. That also accounts for you having to push the clutch in several times to get it to start.

the clutch sensor is going haywire on you, it won't turn over unless it reads that the clutch is pushed in.
