Grow cold and cutt off such emotions. I wouldn't be able to live with continuous heartbreaks it drains too much energy.

Why only these choices? Life can be full of other paths. Why not try some? It doesnt matter if you screw up sometimes but there are opportunities that need to be explored and experiences you should attempt before you get too far in that downward spiral. Good luck with a new attitude.

i would rather grow cold and cut off emotions. it would be so quiet and a whole lot less stressful. i know...there is an old saying that "it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all"...however, i am older and have already been there, did that..so i think i will stick to my answer..lol.good question.

What makes you think you have a choice? Life happens. You take the blows, you cry, you pick yourself up and you move on. If you let it break you...you've lost...if it hardens you...you've lost...you just have to find a safe harbour somewhere in the middle and take comfort that you are not alone in the woes that everyone faces in life.
