Because the use of the words 'terror' and 'terrorist' and 'war on terror' are part of the cynical fear-mongering tactics of the Bush administration. Yes, there are terrorists around the globe--some golden oldies like Bader-Meinhof from the 1950's were the European equivalent of Al Quaeda...but it didn't take 3650 dead military to get rid of them...it took ordinary smart intelligence operations & some brave police officers. The Dems don't flog the 'terror' rhetoric because they recognize it for what it is...rhetoric to keep the sheep corraled, passive and compliant.

Because terrorism doesn't exist to the Liberal mind. They think it's something Bush made up. Just listen to these people, half of them blame America for 9-11.

The other half think legalizing drugs and hugging trees are more important..

I didn't hear a question about terrorism. I also didn't hear one about illegal immigration. There is no doubt in my mind there had to be questions about these subjects that weren't picked. Maybe they were presented in a bad way. Who knows.

Because Dems are trying to scare the crap out of Americans like Republicans do just so they can maintain their power.

Terror? That is such a Republican thing to obsess over.
You can keep your islamofascist bogey man. I am totally bored with " terror " and see this issue for what it is: a homemade justification for creating a police state at home and starting colonial wars abroad - at least as far as this administration is concerned.

Why should they? We do not need any more fear mongering. We need to look at Domestic issues while dealing with security issues as part of our domestic issues.

To use the terminology "Terror" is only to scare people into voting for whatever you want since most voters are lemmings and will follow the sound bite rather than educate themselves.

CNN did not allow any questions on it appearantly. But Gravel did mention terrorism in his little video, pretty much that it has been going on sincethe dawn of time and implied he would do nothing about it.

Well, if it wasn't mentioned in any question, then it probably wouldn't be on topic to mention it in any response.

Not everything in the country and not everything in the world revolves around fear.

We've had issues to deal with for decades before terrorism became our media focus. And all of those social and political and economic issues don't go away just because we've suddenly noticed that there are bad people in the world.

I didn't notice that. Do you think there was a particular time when somebody should have mentioned it but didn't?
