If you had the choice to die a quick and completely painless death in the next few minutes, considering there will be no after-life when you die and it will just be everlasting sleep, would you take it?

yes, I'm in the mood to disappear. I'm undecided about myself nowadays. Sign me up and I'll write myself off.

Well, that is a rather depressing question! LOL I was waiting for the whole, 'how would you want to die'? part of the question....But anywhoo...

I would have to say that this question is relative. If you are a person who is depressed or upset right now, who sees no light at the end of the tunnel, who is going through horrible deals right now, with no family or friends who seem to care, then you will answer YES to this question, because you may not feel that life is worth the living.

If you are happy, surrounded by family and friends you authentically love, have a dream job, dream partner, love your kids and who you are, you will answer NO to this question.

If you see this as a way to give back, ie, organs or blood donation and your death will save someone, then you will say YES.

If you are dying of a horrible disease, and really would perfer to keep living, then you will say NO to this question.

It's all relative to what you are thinking and feeling right now.

No, there's too much life to be lived, and having death be painless is not something I'm worried about.

To the answerer "Rara"

Don't ever succumb to the opposite of your human instincts.
It is our instinct as a human beings to find that silver lining, that little flash of gold, to want and to find life.
Not to answer random thoughtless questions and to take them seriously.

This question may have caught you off guard. But everyone makes a different in everyone else's life...........6 degree's of separations.

Smile be happy.

Oh to answer the question, "Hell No"........Bush has to be impeached and Cheney tarred and feather, first.
