as the number of "removed questions" increases? Does it make sense?

Maybe I did not explain myself clearly (based on some answers I got) I am talking about questions you post that are later removed by yahoo patrol. 10 points less each time. Therefore your number of points gets smaller actually... Right? Anyway, how does this effect your percentage of "best answers." This percentage is calculated on the total number of "best answers" over the total number of questions you answer. Your overall total of points should have nothing to do with it?

The way I understand it, the way that your percentage of Best Answers goes down is when you answer more and more questions. In other words if you answer 100 questions and 5 are chosen as the Best Answer, your percentage is 5%. If you go on to answer more questions, but then do not get any more Best Answers, your percentage will go down -- because the percentage of Best Answers is based upon your total number of answers.

I believe the more you answer questions the total of questions will increase... You are actually seeing a optical illusion... You still have the same amount of best answers but yeah the percentage will decrease the more you answer questions..

Even if they removed the question if you got selected best answer you should get the best answer percentage. No use punishing you cause someone else got reported.

Yeah, I found out recently the more questions I answer the more it goes down, if I don't get a Best Answer in a while.
