Thanks alot. Actually the reason I'm asking is because I hate my name so much I don't want anyone to know it, not because I'm a terrorist.

u know that they treat muslims today in the US just how they use to treat the blacks. They are prediuce again muslims just how they were against blacks. It has gotten better though.
But go to your local office or aldermen and ask them.

Possible, but unlikely.

A name change is a change to a public record, and usually requires a court order, which is also a public record.

In extraordinary circumstances, a person might be able to convince a court to seal the records. But it would have to be pretty amazing circumstances.

Well, you want credit? a car? a checking account? An internet account? I guess youre going to have to accept that someones gonna wanna know who you are. You cant just steal the names off of choicepoint data base and expect you wont get found out. We know youre a terrorist and I wont stop exposing you and I dont care what names you use.. As part of the petition for the name change, you could request that the judge seal the record, but without very compelling cause, it isn't likely to be granted.
