Who knows what goes on in the minds of Republicans (if anything)? Reagan was the second worst President in modern history (first, of course, is Dumbya). He also wrecked our economy and fueled the very terrorism we claim to be fighting today.

I believe that U.S. Grant's presidency was the most corrupt in history. During his term, lobbyists were actually bringing briefcases full of cash to Congress to buy votes.

He was a B grade actor who was able to show a grandfatherly affect on most people including legislators. They also saw that he was showing signs of "forgetting syndrone" and just let things ride.

Because actors can articulate the GOP platform in a way that appeals to the average American.

An example : Ah-nuld in Cal-y-fohn-ya.

I hate to say it, but unless Gore wins the Democratic nomination, our next president will be the Law & Order guy.

Well actually if you base corruption on those indicted and convicted.

The Reagan administration wasn't the most corrupt.

The Clinton administration was,

With: 38 indictments and 33 convictions

You can deny "The Great One" all you want but he will go down as one of the greatest presidents of all time, easily in the top 5 along with Lincoln and Jefferson and Roosevelt and Washington himself. He ended the Cold War, brought communism to it's knees freeing tens of millions of people from it's grip and his radical tax cuts have caused America and the world to experience 23+ years of non-stop economic growth.

You are a socialist and a fool, so you don't care about any of that, but I just wanted you to know.

I guess if you are a Republican, Ronald Reagan was one of the best Presidents. If you are a Democrat, then he wasn't. He won by a landslide. If you want to talk about a corrupt President, Bill Clinton comes to mind.
