If you have a leopard gecko, they don't need uv lights of any kind. They are nocturnal. They just need belly warmth, supplied by an under the tank heating pad at one end. Make sure the temp is 88-91F. Use a digital indoor/outdoor probe thermometer taped to the bottom to get an accurate reading. You don't want high humidity. Humidity should be supplied in one of the hides on the warm side. I simply put a plastic container with a hole cut in the side and papertowels on the bottom. Mist daily to keep moist, as this aids with shedding.

Pads and lights will dry out the humidity in the tank. Just take a spray bottle and spray some water on the sides, plants and/or rocks periodically to help keep the humidity up. The pad should be fine until a new light can be purchased.

You didn't say what kind of gecko? I am guessing a leopard gecko? They are nocturnal and do not need lights. Under tank heat is all they need. As far as humidity, you can mist the tank a couple times a day, or provide a humid hide box by taking a plastic container and cutting an entry hole in one side, then filling it with damp moss. Spray the moss as it starts to dry out.

Use moist substrate such as treated moss and put it inside a hide. If you want full humidity, spritz the tank with a water bottle and used with the heating pad and lighting it should generate a lot of humidity. Beware of respiratory infection.

if its just going to be a day or two, I wouldnt worry about humidity, just be sure there is enough water in the tank.

or you could get a misting spray bottle and spray the inside of the tank a couple times a day
