Alright, I've had it with different races, but I'm not racist at whatsoever; the majority of my friends are not white, but I am. How is it that every other ethnicity aside from caucasions can get away with racial slurs, yet, white people cannot? I am called unlimited names by my friends, yet, I can't fire back with anything because they "take offense to it", well so the **** do I!!! Caucasions have become the minority, and I feel we have a right, not to lash out, but the right to be able to make jokes now. This is not fair anymore, what do you think? And I'm not talking about dropping the N bomb or calling someone a "tomato picker", or any other slurs (regardless if they do it to us, that's not the question, I'm talking about joking with friends).

it is pretty bad, other races think just cuz someone in their family years and years back suffered that they deserve special treatment (which they do receive in many cases ie: financial aid for school), almost like you have to tread softly around any race other than white, they don't take into the fact that now everybody is seen as equal and the whites have become the minority. The n bomb is thrown out all the time, via music, movies etc. but don't feel that we have the right to use it. Quite frankly its bull S***. And they wonder why the leader of our country remains white.

I like to consider myself an ordinary person.Personally I don't think any racial slurs are funny, not even amongst friends.I think it all comes down to basic respect for each other. Why would anyone, especially a friend, want to compromise a friendship based on a comment that could offend another.I have never agreed with double standards, and while I'm not perfect,I have tried to never intentionally hurt anyone with my words or actions. This is how I explained this topic to my grandson when he was only 5-6 years old. I said if you wouldn't want something said or done to you ,you can be sure someone else wouldn't want it said or done to them.It is my own take on "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I do make fun of myself because I am not insecure in who or what I am. Does a racial slur in a conversation, even in jest, really add anything positive to what you are saying?Well folks it is within your power to make small changes in your speech that will have a positive impact on others.. It costs nothing to be kind.Take care

If there your friends then they know that your just joking...I remember when I was in school me and my friend would go "I hate black people" and she would say the same thing just with white. I think people take offense when white people say things like that because they have wronged so many races in the past and people feel that in a country run by them they should be allowed to have one thing they can hang over there head...besides you're not the minority sweetie not for atleast 3 years

Why is it that you want to "get away" with racial slurs? If you're talking about your friends and they're doing it to you, I don't know why they'd be tripping on you if you were just firing back jokingly. If you're joking around with friends, why can't they tell when you are all joking around? Outside of that, I don't see why you'd want to be "getting away" with using these terms. I have a lot of friends who use racial terms inappropriately, but we usually keep it between ourselves and directed at each other.

you're right and it is irritating and ridiculous. I've posted one comment on here and now ppl think I'm a racist against hispanics. They don't know anything. But back to your question; don't feel like you can't do this or can't do that. you have every right just as them to make a comment or a joke. as long as you know you're not racist, who cares?

i do no longer think of it particularly is a controversy of persons having something to disguise. i think of it particularly is a controversy of persons merely anticipate any time a question is asked approximately "white people" and "racism" that the asker has an adjenda. It reaches the diploma the place people do no longer surely examine the question - as, apparently, they did no longer examine yours - lots as respond to what they anticipate the questioner ability. i've got observed that with men, surely. Any time the version between females and men people comes up, loads of fellows immediately anticipate that they are approximately to be stated what's incorrect with men and what's suited with women people. guy-bashing has been this variety of properly-liked game for the final 2 a protracted time or so as that i think of maximum men merely anticipate the same old line of defense (different than for the only that immediately balk, yet i'm uncertain they could desire to be stated as men) and hunker down. So, too, whites have been so systematically accused of racism (to the factor the place i think of Lewis Farrakhan as quickly as stated that purely whites could be racist) that we frequently times respond defensively even while no offense is meant. and that i think of it particularly is a factor of the respond on your unique question. some whites are so traumatized via perceived guilt over racist rules that they immediately anticipate the soi disant "ethical intense floor" any time something even approximating race comes up. think of of it because of the fact the "do no longer hit me, i'm on your facet" protection.

because you are NOT the minority at all as you say, and your race hasn't had the sufferage of the other races. therefore racial pride in being white, it being proud of what your race has done. you can be mad all you want but at th end of the day you still win. because to be white is to be KING. thats just how it is

Just tell them that you are a person, a human being. That is your race. Not white. That is their race too. We are human beings, regardless of our skin colour.

Start by setting a good example.

Well its about time that white people feel like the outsiders. people of color are treated like crap and so sometimes they lash out how they feel as though they have to joke. I do feel that if you cant take it , dont dish it out
