shouldn't all people be treated fairly especially who could be the next president? Seems like the media is always directing people into who they think is best (or pays them the most). Mike Gravel, for example, gets the crappy or defensive questions.

No, absolutely not. This is ridiculous, especially considering the debates. I support Obama but was completely dissatisfied by his, and Hillary Clinton's performance at the debates. All they gave was what I call "blah" answers.

At the CNN Youtube debate, Mike Gravel gave inspiring, powerful answers to the few questions he was given and finally demanded that he be given more attention (Anderson Cooper noticeably did start giving him more questions in the second half).

While I do like Obama, Hillary, and John Edwards; I do not like how all the attention is focused on them. All candidates should be given a fair chance to present their ideas, because many times they have interesting things to say.

The problem is, the two candidates with the party back up are the most likely to become the next President. So while you might support Gravel, the majority of support is for Obama, Clinton, and Edwards for the Democrats, and I'm not sure who the Republican candidates are. But out of the three I mentioned, those are the ones that will have the party support, will get the most advertising, and if a democrat wins, it is not going to be someone that not everyone knows about, it will be one of the three above. It is not necessarily the media, but the political party, as well as that persons campaign buying the spots for them. If you want a certain candidate to succeed, you need to assist his campaign, donate money, etc.

Of course its not fair.

But thats the reality of things. You cant expect equal time to be handed to the lower-tier candidates on a silver platter. They have to fight for it and their supporters have to fight for it.

I've been supporting Gravel since April, and I can honestly say I've done my best to help his campaign out, whether its through donations or just telling others about him.

If he wins, itll be because the people get involved and help him. Gravel is an incredible candidate and would do alot of good for the country, but if you just want to sit on your couch throughout the entire presidential race, then dont be surprised when its all over, the dust clears and its another millonaire career politician in the White House who will keep doing more of the same crap and keep lying to us all.

Get involved. Thats the only way things ever change, when people get involved.

Oh, come on.

The people want to hear what the viable candidates have to say. Mike Gravel is NOT a viable candidate and won't last through the Iowa Caucuses...... He is in it for fun and to stir things up a little.

Anything that happens before Iowa is only entertainment for the boobs. There will be no serious debate, no platform issues, nothing until then.

Right now it is all theater....and is very boring.

If there are many candidates, they should split them up (Randomly) and have two or more debates. This way everyone can be asked the same question and be given equal time to answer the question.

Then a candidate with less money can still let the voters know what they believe in.

Often the questions and the candidate for whom it is intended is chosen from audience responses. Maybe there are more people interested in what Mrs. Clinton has to say, as opposed to what Mike Gravel has to say.

The Jew-owned media is going to make sure that Hillary or some other Jew wins the Presidential race. It happens every time. Jews have a monopoly on the power structure in the USA. Sad but true.

Uhh...Gravel is not going to win. Hillary Clinton is the dominant figure, hon.

And you expected Hillary to Play Fair? Dude sometimes I think the only people who like Hillary ARE the Media.
Edwards hair looks good though. I think he had a manicure before hand.

They did the same thing with McCain, Giuliani, and Romney....Ron Paul had a fraction of the air time that they did.

But, we see where McCain is now...don't we :)

We still have time...it will all come out in the wash...

HIllery is a quack and we all know it.

The Clinton years are over...voting for that clown won't get them back.
