“Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.”
-1 John 2:6

Let me say that I believe people who cohabit fall into two categories. First, those who have no intention of getting married. They simply want to enjoy all the benefits of living together but be able to make a quick exit when things turn sour. The second group sees living together as a trial marriage. They want “to take a test drive before signing on the dotted line.” Why do so many people forgo or delay getting married? For one reason, they don’t see many healthy, thriving marriages. They see the pain resulting from broken marriages and they have lost confidence in their ability to find a compatible match.

The Bible teaches that sex was created by God and is good. The Bible teaches, again and again, that sex apart from marriage involves behavior which is sinful.

For those who might be tempted to ignore what the Bible says, the findings of modern research overwhelmingly support marriage over cohabitation.

It says to stay away from even the appearance of sin...

Sex before marriage is stated many, many times in the bible as a sin...

It sounds like you are going to do this anyway... why worry about the Bible if you are just looking for a reason to do what you want anyway?

Remember, when Jesus was born, God arranged that he have married parents. Joseph and Mary were married, and thus represent the sacred example of what God meant for all humanity. A man and a woman, married under God, raising their children in marriage. If people today could just stay together, find happiness, and raise their families together, it would be so much better.

It's a book written by a bunch of sexually deprived, bitter, controlling men. I don't believe in god or the devil. The whole point of religion was to control men, and mainly WOMEN through fear. It even states that women are inferior to men. I bow to no one, let alone some "master of us all" that was created by the minds of men.

Honey, if you want to live with your significant other, don't let some a s s backward 2,000 page snooze parade stop you.

Does it really matter what the bible says? Its just a book written by men. Live your life by your own rules, not everybody elses.
