Men are dogs & women are cats? What do you think?

Just wanted to bring a new light on this situation. If men are compared to dogs & women to cats wouldn't cats be worse. Let's look at the temprement of a dog. They are man's best friend, they can be trained, they are loyal loving affectionate & protect the things they care for. Cats are two-faced, tempremental, picky, & just mean & they will use anything to sharpen their claws.....unless they are declawed.Yup they're are some bad dogs (used as a term for men who sleep around a lot, but now a days women do it as well) & good cats in the world. But seeing how evil women can be I myself ( a woman) would rather be compared with a dog than be a cat.

Men are compared to dogs & women compared to cats. Never heard the term "he's such a dog." or she's a vicious cat?

I love dogs and especially cats, who happen to be cleaner than dogs and less fuss to care for. People, on the otherhand, do not have a good excuse to let "animal type" of thinking rule over their behavior and their decision making.
Those negative characteristics you address are the result of the bad teaching and role modeling they receive as children and negative learning experiences that follow them into adolescence and adulthood. Many women are complacent, honest, kind and careful about where and how they "sharpen their claws" and many men are careful whom they sleep with. As a matter of preference, however, if there must be a comparison using me, I prefer the free-spirited but affectionate cat, who demands respect from it's owner. And by the way, with the proper training and love, no cat EVER needs to be declawed!!

When young, a cat because of the attachment and behavior of the cat. The next is a man because they want to spend the rest of their life in marital bliss, you know, like you see on tv, The man cares and does for you, brings you roses and repairs things around the house. A man who kisses you and help with chores and children. After finding what men are really like, women begin to prefer dogs to keep the men away so the women can play.

I have never heard anyone refer to women as cats and men as dogs. Well I guess I take that back I have heard men being called dogs before. LOL So yeah I guess I'd want to be a cute dog or something.

That is like comparing apples with oranges. No comparison. People are people good and bad in both women and men. It is not fair to judge anyone based on only their gender. And to compare men and women to dogs and cats is ludicrous.

Men are dogs and women are too. They are bitches (female dogs) with a cat temperament. Like the song says."why must I be like that, why must I chase the cat...nothing but the dog in me pow wow...

WHAT? Are u all there or not? If u wanna compare urself and ur boyfriend with a cat & dog its ok, but try not to do it in general cause people are diffrent. And I never like to be compared with any kina animal!!!

i guess u can say that w/ SOME people...i'm more like a dog though. i don't think of women as cats and men as dogs though bc there's good cats, bad cats, good dogs, bad dogs, good people, and bad people. i dont' think so though....though i don't picture a single guy w/ a cat ATALL....

I agree with this because if you look at it. Guys are like dogs they always want attention and they are slobbery and messy. were as cat will let you know when you can touch them other than that leave them alone. they tend to be very clean. hence the men are like dogs and women are like cats. Its very true.
