im getting 8 neon tetra. how mny males and how many females? i know that the females will be harrassed by males so how many do i get?

Males and females will not be sepreated at petstores and they may not be old anough to sex but if you can pick them then get 6female 2 male, I dont think males to haras the females with neons, I know guppies do.

If you can, get 5 females and 3 males, or 2 males and 6 females. It isn't that important unless you are breeding them.

it is hard to sex neons, the only way to tell by people who dont everyday breed them, is by guessing. the fatter ones are females.
if u know how to sex them, mind telling me? but the oly way i know how is the fat ones are females, but again thats guessing as maybe that fish is just full.
but it is best if you can to get 4ofea.
