I have no respect for him. He has proclaimed himself the voice of the black community when in fact most of the black community doesn't support a darn thing he's about. It's even more frustrating when some non-Blacks think he is our representative of some sort.

Not to be racist, But I even quote a columnist from the NY Times. She admitted to being black and said that Al Sharpton is a disrespectful man. When the cop got shot in his face and killed in brooklyn, NY few weeks ago. He was no where to be found. But he comes out with a discrimination charges when it happens to a black man. Again not to be racist but I think hes disrespectful

The media portray him as if he is the king of the crop I mean they have him on the high shelf on the top shelf at that he is a good person but he is very phony and he makes no sense sometimes well most of the time he makes no sense he tries to speak for all African Americans but I think he is speaking only what he thinks or only what he think we feel...

i think of the entire concept-approximately a "hate crime" is organic BS. Ever hear somebody say they bashed in someones cranium with a baseball bat because of the fact they enjoyed the guy lots? All hate crime rules do is say that somebody elses life is greater important than anothers, If somebody murders my son who's white and then yet somebody else murders Al sharpton why would desire to one get much less or greater time in detention center,or a greater extreme punishment because of the fact their sufferer became black,is my sons life much less significant because of the fact he's white? the detest crimes rules are the main important offence against human reason in our countries criminal historic past. advert

He plays on the emotions of hurting people so that he can look like the hero. He lives for media attention. He is nowhere to be found when it really counts. Has he ever accomplished anything, other than organizing a one-mile march?

What the media wants me to believe- He is a respectable man and he is a leader in the "black community".

My REAL opinion- He is a jackass that helps keep racism alive by claiming it every five seconds. And he is no ******* leader of mine.
