do you believe human beings should have the right to live?

of course!
you should be able to act and be whoever you are. with no judgments! you wouldn't deny the right to live to a lchild who was born blind!

you wouldn't want someone to deny your rights just because you are short or tall. You cant help it! thats how you were born!

The right? Do you have a choice? Your either homosexual or your not. A person's sexual preferences are their own business. Should being a homosexual couple allow you to access the same rights and services that a heterosexual married couple have? No. Being a homosexual couple should not have any more status then an non-married heterosexual couple have.

Have the right? While I do know some where their homosexuality is a choice for them (choosing to be gay instead of bisexual, that is), most gay men and women I've ever known, it's just inherant to them. They are born that way. That's like asking if you have the right to breathe. How can you stop? Your lungs just take in and breathe out air unbidden. Sure, you can hold your breath. But after a while, nature wins out and you again gasp for air.

I think it's amazing that in this age of acceptance and so called colorblindness we still treat homosexuals and lesbians as second or third class citizens. People like myself who didn't live through the 1950s find it hard to believe that African Americans could be forced to drink out of separate drinking fountains, sit on the back of the bus and were hosed down with fire hoses in the streets when they protested. Hopefully my children and grandchildren will gasp when they look at the way homosexuals were treated in our present times. Unfortunately, if they ask me if I ever partook in any gay hating myself, I will answer in the affirmative.

the right to be homosexual. that doesn't make sence. I have had feelings towards males for so long, what i shouldn't be allowed to be like that. Acting out on homosexuality is a choice unlike being gay. That doesn't harm anyone and makes more good then bad so why should i not be alowed to be gay.

the RIGHT. Yes, I think men DO HAVE the RIGHT to be homosexual. Men also have the RIGHT to be any number of other things -- like left handed and brown eyed.

Not everyone thinks this of course. One remembers one man who didn't think that people had the RIGHT to be Jewish, or, as I spend a moment recalling Gypsies, or in fact GAY. I don't agree with people like him however, and I think everyone has the RIGHT to be what they are.

Why only men? Both genders have the right to their own sexual orientation and preference. I feel anyone and everyone has the right to homosexual and/or bisexual. Being lesbian myself, I feel anything less is just not right and cruel, and disrespectful, and mean, and wrong in so many ways, I don't care count!

Everyone has the right to be anything, as long as it isn't dangerous or destructive. Since homosexuality is neither a choice nor dangerous/destructive, it is perfectly normal.

People either are or are not homosexual or anything else. It is not a matter of "rights" as I understand the term.

I don't think right is the right word. I have friends that are gay and they didn't elect to be homosexual, they just are. But if its truly who you are then there is nothing wrong with it

"men have the RIGHT TO BE" what the hell buddy?! Do you think that all gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and trans CHOOSE to be the way they are! HA! you're not funny. I would give a kidney for one day not have people throw rocks at me , beat me, hit, and kick me! But, changing isn't a choice, it's the way we are! if you have a problem with the way we are, then leave!! Get out of our place to be us!
