My friend used to have a primary care physician who wanted to do a pap smear test on her every visit. Even if she had a cold & came back that following week for a checkup. She was scared to see him after awhile. & every time, he said she just simply had a yeast infection. Someone else told her that her doctor is a pervert for doing that.
We were just discussing this a few minutes ago.

OMG this man is so fake. She needs to report him to the medical board. Every visit does not mean you need a pap smear. If anything when you do go and have a pap smear done and it comes back abnormal then yes I can understand another one done. But every time she had a doctor's appointment she got a pap smear ohhhh no!!! He is beyond a pervert!!! He is a molester!!!!!! And he needs to go to jail!!! I wish your friend all the luck in the world and she is in my prayers. This is just awful!!!

That doctor is a creep and I wouldn't see him anymore. First of all, she should be seeing a gynecologist for a pap smear and her PCP knows that. And if she wasn't seeing him for anything related to her reproductive system he shouldn't have even suggested it. She may be able to contact the Better Business Bureau or some agency like that and report him. She doesn't know how many women he's done this to and it should obviously be stopped.

that is not normal. sometimes a primary care giver will give a pap but not everytime. After the first pap results if there is still a problem or the patient needs to be rechecked then they need to be sent to a specialist. he is a pervert. you should do something. In case he is doing this to someone else. that is not....i repeat NOT normal.

If she was prone to yeast infections, maybe he was just doing his job. Did he give her yeast infection medication every time? Was a nurse present for each exam? Was he creepy? I have never had a doctor insist on a pap more than twice a year.

Sounds like my doctor who always gave me an anal exam at every visit. Bending over the table while standing on a stool while he inserted one and sometime two fingers in my anus, then wiped the area with a paper towel (the lube) like he was wiping my bottom after using the bathroom. I still get nightmares.
