I want to be a 16 year old during the fabulous 50's. For that I should have been born in the '40's or late 30's.
It is the best time. Why? Not a care in the world, peace prevailed everywhere, Elvis and many many artists were there, gasoline was 7 cents a gallon.
50's chevy convertible is my favorite so that I can take my favorite girl to the drive in watch a movie - do a lot of necking - and go for a hamburger at A&W drive in.

Well I'm happy to have born in this period but i also would love to be young guy from the 70's or 80's. The only reason is because i like the music of that period!!!!

The 1980's. My hair is naturally crazy, poofy, big, and curly, so I would have been in style. And I like bright colored clothes and chunky jewelry, oh man, I would have been so cool, but I was born during the next decade, so I guess I missed the 1980's by 6 years.

Mid-70s. Then I could have lived through the 80s and early 90s as someone old enough to appreciate the culture and music!

I think I grew up in the best of times, I wouldn't want to be a teenager in this current generation. the world has gotten a lot greedier in the last couple decades. people are less inclined to help their neighbor. kids have more rights but don't know it. I hate to think what the next 30 years will bring

Now this is the best of times. Most people see the past as a time to live because they see one or two people who lived back then not the masses.
