I'm leaning toward peace.
Our system is so screwed up right now.
It is unbeleivable!
And the people that run our country are lieing to us left and right.

In my opinion the US is close Communism. We aren't free.We can't impeach Bush, because the system is screwed up.Also, there is no freedom of speech, people are getting arrested. They are just covering it up.We are being lied to everyday by our so called president. All the big networks are bought by the republicans.
:/
We are far from peace.

Also.
Police can't do anything about murder and crime. They can help to prevent it.They can't fully stop it.If we all shared they would be no reason for stealing.

Riots and disorder. Anarchy is the last thing we need right now.

Peace...like anyone knows what Peace is..the libs engage in slander..they pawn off as dissent...

calling for anarchy is completely ignorant...next time the
crazy radical left holds a riot to protest the World Bank

or a Eco-fool drives a spike in a tree to kill a Lumberjack..you should think what your thought pattern asks for..

obeying the law works in this Country..unless you are exempt
because you crossed a border to find a job..

Erm... anarchy does tend to bring about riots and disorder, yes. You have to have government because especially in today's world, it's just dangerous to have no rules and regulations. Few enough people actually follow their consciences or heck, even HAVE consciences anymore that you can't trust people to follow their own better natures. However, I do concede that today's governments (not just ours) are too big for comfort. But we're also allowing them to get that way.

Most likely, riots and disaster.

It may sound smug of me, but there has never been a time in our history when there wasn't some form of society, even if it was simple as one's family elders.

Furthermore, people aren't perfect, not by a long shot. Think about it. If you knew that there was no police department, would you think it's OK to steal? You might and then you might not. It's all subjective.

Taking Back Our Country From the Plutocrats
http://www.hermes-press.com/pollindex.htm

The United States constitution defines our form of government as a representative democracy. Informed, aware citizens elect congressional representatives, a president, and vice-president who are to "establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity."

That's the ideal the U.S. constitution provides for us, and it behooves all thinking Americans to defend that ideal with our very lives.

However, from the founding of the United States, our democracy has been subverted in actual practice.

For anarchy to be a viable option, people would need to be able to take responsibility for their own actions, and co-exist in a society based on mutual respect and tolerance, without greed, hatred or prejudice.

As a species, we're nowhere close that.

I don't know if it would bring riots, but anarchy would certainly bring disorder. I don't think it would bring us peace, because it would be too, well, disorganized.
