Hi Nicole H,

I don't think it's bad to LQQK forward to raising any kids as they grow so fast.
My favorite age for children would be two never mind the experts say trouble twos-at this age kids can walk, are usually potty trained & usually talking more in complete sentences just a fun age to raise kids.
Hardest age 13-17 years-they know it all never mind what's sometimes best, have mood swings, puberty. Kids grow faster than you think , just cherish that fact that you have children. Have a good night. :0)
P.S. grandchildren are my favorites now-spoil them & send them home.

I felt the same way in the first few weeks. My baby is now 9 weeks, and she is so much fun! My sister says that she loves 6months to 18 months the most, but we are not quite there yet. I teach junior high, and I have a feeling that will be the hardest age. Congrats on the new baby!

No honey, that is perfectly normal. Newborns are great and cute and all of that, but it is a lot of fun as they get older. I have a 3 and 5 year old. I am going to say for me this is a very frustrating period especially with my 5 year old. Because it does get easier and then it gets tougher, I do not believe that any part of raising a child is easy or going to easy but it is well worth every minute.

As a student-teacher, I would say that Teenagers are hard to reach sometimes. They are at this age of supposed invincibility and harmful precociousness. Personally, I prefer pre-teens, because you can relate to them and talk to them as if they are teens and they still have this childish innocence about them. Hey, as far as the newborn, knowing your behavior will totally affect another is a great powerful position. You can mold your baby into a great kid!

Nope it is not bad. When I first had my baby (now shes 2), I couldnt wait for her to walk talk and play. But now I have a 10 month old, I am waiting. My 2 year old is mouthy and things like that, but i still enjoy those moments that we have together where I am reading to her or shes singing rock a bye baby to me.

im the reverse, I LOVE newborns, but I have a hard time with 18mo to 3 yr olds. Luckily, my husband prefers the older babies, so he has alot of fun with toddlers, and I just do the work! Not to say I don't do anything with oldr babies, but I lose my temper easier and get frustrated along with them!!! Sigh, motherhood is hard work!

I think elementary school age is my favorite. Everything is new and my jokes aren't old anymore! Babies are the hardest. They require constant vigilance.

I love playing with little kids that are like 16 months old. Because they are just soooooo cute. And they don't blab on & on yet. No, that's not bad.

golden years are 5-11.
they don't need diapers and aren't fussy teens yet.
make the most of it.
yes, verbal moms enjoy it when the kids talk
but try to enjoy all the touching and nonverbal stuff now.
