Well, I have done very well under President Bush. But I also did very Well under Presidents Clinton, Bush 1, and Reagan.
But then again I work hard and don't whine about who is going to "Promise to give me a hand out" like some folks.
I just remember Clinton campaigning he was gonna "Cut taxes for the Middle Class". Then 14 days after he too office, he gave the Middle Class the Largest tax increase in History.
I'll be fine no matter who comes in next. Obviously, you need someone to take care of you. But if you can't make it in this Economy, God help you under what Hillary Proposes.

Achieved?
Wrong word.
What he has done is set the stage for things to come ,far worse than I care to think about..
Think its bad now.... just wait.
I would say the same of any president of any party who
has done so much harm to this country in the eyes of the world.
For the first time in my life I am embarrassed to be an American .
Our detractors have been waiting a long time to do as much damage as GW has done in 6-1/2 years.
We will not be able to buy or shoot our way out of the mess we're in any time soon , if ever.

I suppose that depends on what he set out to do. If his aims were to further quagmire the middle east, inflate the defecit, increase the size and scope of the federal government, divide the nation cleanly in two, and destroy our credibility with the world for at least a generation; then yes, I'd say his achievements are more than we can handle. Unfortunately, I don't believe he actually decidered upon those achievements, he just blundered into them- not that it makes those things any easier to handle.

The connotations of the word "achieved" don't fit my view of what Bush has done. And yes, I think it's more than we can handle in the short term. Hopefully in the long term we can dig our way out. The USA survived a Civil War and a Great Depression--we can survive Bush.

George has not "achieved" a darn thing, except making the world hate the USA.

He made himself rich. Other than that, he has placed a millstone around the US neck. America is considered a pariah by most other countries. I mean their populations, not their governments.
