I'm 12 and I want to get a motor scooter for my birthday. My Daddy said you have to have a license to drive one. Is that true?

When I was 10 years old, I road my Honda 70 minibike all around for years and had sooo much fun. So i totally understand where you are coming from. =)
I did a little searching for you. I found this website, mind you, I've never purchased from this website. Read the description of the electric bike (that looks like a scooter). Here's the website:

I would also check with your DMV and do some more research. So you might be able to get one. =)

A scooter that small does not require a license or assurance. As for that different answer, it incredibly is totally unlawful to experience on the sidewalk. no longer even bicycles are allowed on the sidewalk. He can park it on the sidewalk, yet in simple terms after he pushes it up there.

You will need to check with your local department of motor vehicles for licensure requirements. These will vary quite a bit depending on your location.
However, you may be able to operate an electric assisted bicycle.

In most states you need to be 16. Though in some you can get a moped licence at 15.
So in other words, your dad is right.

you can get a battery one, i have one and its great, be sure to wear a helmet, no license needed
