I just want to know how it is that Jesus (who I do not believe in ) who taught peace love and charity always ends up married to a gun in America ?
Yes in Canada we all said "Praise the Lord and pass the amunition" - but should we have gotten past the hypocrasy and cognitive dissonance of the by now ?

My point is that it is silly and non sensical to have jesus a god of love cast in a battlefield with a gun and that is more or less what the writer of this blog has done

Two people have died for you. Jesus, who died to save your soul, and soldiers, who died for your freedom.
Most Conservatives believe in the Bible and the US Constitution, one provides for your soul in the next life, and the other provides for your civil rights.
Obviously, being a non-believer, you have not studied the word of God and understand little about which you blather on about.
You have no idea what Jesus taught.

C'mon... the neo-cons have to give us SOMETHING to smile about, right? And it IS because, for whatever reason, strongly conservative people tend to lean toward the religious right and to feel strongly about the 2nd amendment.
"Cognitive dissonance" is a good description.

yeah i did a search and found 6,730,000 citations , not all in one sentence. but more disturbing is when i tested babies die in a sentence i found 14,600,000 we as a country are more abortion hungry than anything else
