He never pays his bills. They come in the mail but he never even opens them. He has extremely bad credit. They are going to repo his car b/c he won't make payments. He has zero financial responsibility. Gets paid on Friday and broke on Saturday. Do you think he is buying drugs? I need to ditch this financial loser. I/we will never have anything nice because I don't make enough on my own to buy nice/big things.

Your smart to realize your not going anywhere with this guy, is it important what he is wasting his money on, since you won't be wasting anymore of your precious time with him? Move forward and find someone who makes you feel good.

You can't help someone like this. He will need to hit rock bottom before he straightens up his act and even that may not help.
There is no financial security with this guy and obviously he doesn't care about his bills, credit, etc.
You deserve to be with someone who can offer you that financial stability and is a lot more mature with their money.
Move on sweetie!!

Seriously though , this guy is a complete and total waste ......... a born loser ! Unless you want to marry him , live in Hell for a few months before you go through the divorce you`ll end up paying for , lose the guy ASAP !
Remember , he`ll get half of everything you own in the divorce also !

You are right to be concerned about this.
He could just be horrible at managing his money. Is he into spending lots of cash? Does he always go out and buy unnecessary things?
I am not saying that he is a drug addict but he might have some money management issues.
The only way to find out is to ask him about it. However, it might rip your relationship apart. Be prepare to see him get defensive.

If it isn't drugs, it is alchohol or gambling or a loan shark he borrowed money from that will break his legs of kill him. It is going somewhere and since he won't tell you were, you don't need to be bothered with him. He is more than a financial loser, he has serious issues.

if he is your fiancee how do you not know if he uses drugs?
If he is spending his money on **** than move on. He will drag you down financially and by the way you dont need a man to buy you things

If he isn't responsible for his money and his bills, then he won't be responsible - period. You will suffer only hardship to his selfishness and neglectful behavior. Run - and find someone who knows how to be financially secure.
