Tommorow I'm baby-sitting an 2 y/o little girl from 7:30 till around 6 pm. I'm 13. Don't say I'm too young, because last Friday night I watched 3 kids. Clay- 5 y/o Charlotte- 4 y/o & Cassidy- 16 months. It was sooooooo cute when the parents walked in it was like a Kodak moment. I had to watch them at our beach condo. Since their my cousins and everything. And they didn't have a place to actually be put to bed. And when the parents walked in the youngest, who was going through a really bad phase of not wanting anyone but her mommy, was laid on top of me fast asleep. And the other to were right there too alsleep aswell! So what are some fun things we can do?

You're plenty old, I was babysitting when I was 12.

I'm a big advocate of fresh air, or if it's really hot outside, at least a change of air... if the weather's good, go to the park, out in the yard to play, splash in a wading pool, etc just make she sure stays hydrated. Little kids are best behaved when they have something interesting to do and are active - they will also take better naps, which is great for everyone.

Find out what her eating and napping schedule is and try to keep relatively close to it, as you can - it will be less stressful for both of you.

Little kids love silly songs and games of peek-a-boo and pattycake. See if there's any videos she can watch if she needs a break - you don't want to overstimulate them either.
