I think he will do well. He has a great sence of humor. The problem is most of us grew up with Bob Barker and cant imagine anyone else.
The same thing was said when Leno took over for Carson. Now there is a whole new generation of kids that couldnt imagine anyone but Leno.

I like the decision, I have always thought he was funny, and he made a good host on "Whose Line is it Anyway?". Although he will never be like Bob Barker, that is actually a good thing. Would anyone want to see Carey imitate Barker? I wouldn't. I want to see Drew Carey host The Price is Right, not Drew Carey acting like Bob Barker hosting The Price is Right.

I don't think that's a good choice. Drew Carey always tries to act so funny, and rarely is. I wish they would've picked some old guy that would've carried on the Bob Barker tradition. Not a dork that tries too hard. My grandma would've been very sad today.

I think I will take a wait and see on this one. If he remains himself and doesn't try to be a Barker clone then I think he will be okay. I also think the whole show needs a face lift from the sets to the prizes. I think rating will be up for a while as people see how Drew does then they will go back to what they were for Bob because some new will stay while some old will go.

I don't know for certain David. But do know that he has awfully big shoes to try and fill regardless of how popular he may be. Although there are some eposides of his show that I have enjoyed, I'm sorry I do not believe him to be as sincere as Bob Barker>

It is the worse choice EVER. Drew Carey sucks azz. Expect the PIR to go downhill from here until it is cancelled, or that guy is replaced.
