The thing I find most beautiful is learning from stories of which one person tackled odds far greater than anyone else could think possible.

History (and fiction, for that matter) is littered with examples. To make things easy, here are brief examples:

History:
Atilla the Hun brought his primitive army against Rome, and managed to make them quake in their iron boots by spreading turmoil among the "noble" families. How? By moving south of the city to where the nobles' farmlands were. He burned most of them, except a handful, who were then questioned for conspiring with Atilla. Easy prey.

Fantasy:
Lord of the Rings. An army of the torn people of Middle Earth want to challenge a dark lord which, if returned to power, would be unstoppable. Also, he can see their every move and has some powerful allies (Sauron, the orcs armies) to do his bidding. Still, they eventually took the battle to his doorstep, knowing how suicidal it would be. Let's face it, that final part would have had them all killed if Golem didn't attack Frodo and let the ring slip.

I find love can either be beautiful, or hideous. You have to be very careful with love. I have never been in love, but I am going to protect my heart until I can feel the time is right to fall into this little thing called love.

When I was twelve, I found a field behind my house that was empty except for a tarnished pair of glasses. Somehow I found the whole scene beautiful, and it is the only happy memory I have.

Taking a few minutes to sit outside and listen to cars going by and birds chirpping, is beatiful!

The sound of a baby's laughter, it's pure and full of joy, nothing tainting it with preconceived notions, racism or anything malevolent.
