A lot of times, I say I'm gonna stop doing this & that, & then before I know it, I go RIGHT back to doing it!

Not very often, but it does happen. I have good intentions but other things in my life get in the way and I lose my initiative.

I don't. I give my self death lines, I try to be really strict about following them. Just to day I said I was going t start my diet and I did. (of course I leave room for flexibility) Tha's not lieing ,is it?
