I appreciate all of the above. They're so beautiful.However, I prefer diamonds with silver and pearls with gold, but, bottom line, it's all good.

Silver and Gold...they always retain value!
As a former bench jeweler in the jewelry manufacturing industry, I can tell you that diamonds and pearls do NOT...there is no aftermarket value...you would be lucky indeed to get 1/10 of what you paid for them from anyone...this is due to the over 500% mark up from wholesaler to final customer...

Diamonds (even cubic zircon) and silver-
I don't like expensive jewelry mostly because I tend to break bracelets, and lose or break earrings- Silver is so much prettier, less expensive, as for zircons, they often look the same as diamonds- and put diamonds with silver? How beautiful!
