okay im pretty sure that shes pregnant but its been so long and she still hasnt had babies shes in a breeding container that traps the babies, so i know shes not eating them, but what is taking her so long to have them? i know it takes up to 27 days but i think its been longer than that? why isnt she having them? theres no reason of her being stressed, everything in the tank is set perfectly and shes being fed... what can i do to fasten up the process, please give me some advice... ive never had a pregnant fish, so this is the first... is it possible she will never give birth to her babies?

28 days is generally accepted as the average time, but it's just that, an average. it's not unusual at all for a female guppy to take up to 40 days to drop her fry. Just like with people, you never know for certain when the time will come. You have provided for her well and the very best thing to do at this point it simply wait. People may suggest things to speed up the process, but anything would be stressful for the fish and the fry so just don't. Just wait her out.

It can take up to 90 days if it is a young female.

nothing to speed up mother nature. it will happen, but remember that 27 is only general, some females take longer and others take less.

so just be patient.
