I liked it because it brought back a lot of things from the other books, like Sirius's motorbike and the two-way mirror, and it also brought a lot of new things in too, like Lupin and Tonks getting married and having Teddy, Bill and Fleur getting married and living in Shell Cottage, Luna's father, etc.

Yes it was a bit abrupt but then not much more than several of the other book endings. They all seem to end just a few pages after the climax. The epilogue was originally quite long however JK rewrote it for several reasons. Basically she left the ending (epilogue that is) fuzzy on purpose leaving us to wonder what happened. That is why she wrote of the haze on the platform so that, unlike previous times, it was hard to see the students and their parents. She purposefully left things open and unclear since the end of any conflict often leaves more questions.

I loved it, because even though like half my favorite characters died, I found out that my suspicions about Snape that I've had since Book 5 were correct, and he loved Lily. That seems so right. Also, Remus and Tonks got married and had a baby! How cool is that? They died, but they died together. Fred's death was so sad, but Voldemort was defeated.
The epilogue was AMAZING. Lily, Harry, and Albus Severus especially. I love Harry's talk with Albus. We all knew that Harry/Ginny and Hermione/Ron would work out, but it was nice to see we were right.

hmm =/ well to be honest, i thought the beginnning was kind of slow + already known : harry hermonie and ron running away finding the horcruxes. however, it started to become REALLY heart thumping because people lied it for me saying that hermoine died - so whenever something happened with hermoine, i thought she would die, but she didn't. as far as the voldemort + harry war goes, i think that it was really expected. i knew that voldemort would die, and most obsessed fans probably thought that harry is going to die- but he didn't. i thought the 4+6+7th were the best.

I liked it because it was a fine way to wrap up the loose ends from the previous book,s had some shocking turns and sad deaths. I salute JKR's wonderful imagination and talent to present that imagination to us.

I found it to be quite the disappointment. JK did not take any risks and only killed off the underdeveloped characters. And there were about 300 pages of them just running around not knowing what to do. It was pretty idiotic. The epilogue was pretty pointless as well.

I loved it! I liked how it showed a different side to Dombledore and how it came to such a complete and dramatic ending. However i did not like the epilogue it seemed rushed

i liked it but i was also dissapointed....i liked it because it kept me guessing about dumbledore's past and it made me not want to put the book down...and idk, theres always something about hp books that makes me just go crazy...but i was also disspointed because i felt like there was something missing...so many questions left unanswered...like i wish i could know more about lily and snape's relationship and stuff...and i was also disspointed because i felt like the style of writing was a little different and i wish there was a lot more information on the dursleys...and i feel like im reading los and lots of fanfic put together because while i was waiting for the book to come out i spent a lot of time reading fanfic and to tell you the truth, a lot of them are similar to the book...like the theories and stuff...some of the actions, and conversations, etc. are different...but like the general idea...like r.a.b. for example...lots of ppl hae already guessed it would be regulus...i just thought that maybe jk rowling wants us to keep guessing its regulus but at the end its not...and i didnt like the epilogue, either..and i thought the bok was going to be 784 pages, but it turns out, it's only 759...quite a dissapointment...i really thought i would have like 20 something-30 pages more of reading...anywho, the book is not my absolute favorite...but i enjoyed it...my fave is still order of the phoenix!
