yes he did.though saw on a left wing website it is 55000. it is funny how they spun that. here is from the news.
According to the Associated Press, the Edwards family donated more than $350,000 to charity, including the International Rescue Committee and Habitat for Humanity. Edwards also received $333,334 in royalties for his book "Home: The Blueprints of Our Lives, " which money was donated to charity.
so after donating all the book money he donated a total approx. 17,000 out of his own money . he makes more in one speech then most Americans, and pats himself on back great.

No. He did not get paid. In fact, he has been on a poverty tour, where the cost of the tour far exceeds any contributions. And for what? Do you think he gets any political points by supporting the poor (who do not vote). He is sort of like John McCain. He stands for what he believes, his campaign has no cash, and he is going to be left in the dust by a bunch of arrogant politican's whose goal for the next four years is simply to rule the country.

I don't know but what does it matter.. Rudy gets paid much more for speaking about 9/11. It's not like he's taking the money from the poor.. These are rich people willing to dish out the money.. Who cares? At least he's talking about it..

I don't know. Wouldn't surprise me, though. He made his money through "ambulance chasing."
