Ok, so I'm good at math (I am in Honors Geometry) and I am a Freshman in High School, but I feel sort of behind because some sophomores are doing AP Calculus!!! I really love math and I want to do better. What should I do?

I would think there are tons of resources on the Internet for you to learn any kind of math you want. Also, why not just ask a teacher at your school for some additional work? It's so rare these days that a student really wants to learn that I'm sure someone would be pleased to help you.

I started out my freshman year in Honors geometry, and took AP Calculus AB my senior year. You could take trig and / or Algebra II in summer schools to take AP Calculus BC and AP Stats, if you want to. But, plan ahead and look at possible colleges you want to go to and see their acceptance policies for AP exams.

No, you're not behind. I took honors geometry in the 8th grade and took algebra IIX in the 9th. Some people took honors geometry in the 9th because they didn't have a B average in algebra I in the 7th. You could take classes in the summer if you want to advance.

No--most of the freshmen are really doing Algebra 1. If your school will let you, and if there is an opportunity, you might be able to take one math course during the summer in order to get ahead.

I took Hon. Geo Freshman and I will be doing AP Calc senior year. Thats actually one level above average for my school. I say you are doing fine.
Also some sophomores are stupid.

Taylor, the main important douche interior the universe. i used to be by making use of myself, however the instructor moved him. communicate a pair of soreness! LOL Stab, yeah I hate it. This guy's a perv too. SO stressful!
