Sandy Koufax. Without question the best pitcher I ever saw. When you went to see Sandy Koufax pitch it was an event. I saw him throw one of his four no hitters and it was like a man against boys. In a four year period in the early 1960's the attendance at Dodger Stadium was 20,000 more every game he pitched. At that time, when I was young, Koufax was baseball to me.
