With all the executive powers Bush/Cheney have fought for in 8 years, do you think Hillary will be the MOST Powerful modern-day President of the U.S. With Bill at her side working with her, won't this be an incredible accumulation of power and talent in one Presidency? The options are unlimited.

Powerful in destroying the most powerful country in the world?

Bush has not fought for any new powers, just to keep the ones granted in the Constitution. For Hillary, I think she really wants more power than the Constitution affords the President - and she won't care how she gets it. Will there be power and talent, maybe power but you can't squeeze talent out of a turnip. Name me one thing she has done to show off her talent as a lemonade stand manage? How about as a mayor? Or how about as a Governor? Anything worth noting as a Senator? Didn't think so.

It doesn't matter who is elected president, they should not have the power that this president has captured. A president is only as powerful as congress will let him be. The last congress, democrats & republicans, gave the president the power he has. The American people need to replace their representatives. they do not serve the people.

I personally don't think so.

But what is this "talent" to which you refer? I don't know if I would consider Bill talented or powerful.

But I just don't have a feeling for Hillary as President.

Nice liberal rant, but the question seemed rhetorical. Whether you want an answer or not, I couldn't believe the news when they said that Hillary was the 45% favorite among democrats, because, wait for it, "of her experience".

She was an attorney, whose law firm was involved in one of the biggest political scandals in recent history. She was a wife of a philanderer that she can't stand up to and divorce his cheating butt, yet she wants us to believe she'll stand up to world leaders. She carpet bagged to New York for a Senate Position, not out of any admirable desire to help the people of New York, but to have a Political post to run for the Presidency from, I couldn't imagine any New Yorker voting for her, after using one of their two Senate seats so blatantly selfishly. She is a Freshman Senator who has held no prior elected position at any level of Government, WHAT EXPERIENCE?

Unless Bush rescinds almost every executive order he's had, she will wield a lot of power and with Bill Clinton in the mix to give her insight, that can be either really good or somethintg nightmarish depending on your point of view.

Pretty confident in her victory, eh?

Personally I am not voting for her, guess by your logic I'm on the losing side.

Frankly, I doubt that whoever is elected the next president will have much power at all. It is my opinion that the next president's true legacy will be whether or not he or she takes steps to begin repairing the damage done since 2000.

It entirely depends on what Congress does over the next 18 months.

But if all the powers Bush has managed to "create" or claim remain in effect, then each subsequent president will just keep accumulating more and more authority to do anything they want and get away with it.

But if she breaks the law, and abuses the same powers that Bush has abused, she'd be no better than Bush. And arguably worse.

Whenever Bush gets called on something, the apologists always sprout something about Bill Clinton doing it when he was pres, so it must be ok.
I can't wait for the next pres to get away with murder by using the same silly distraction techniques.
"Dik Cheney shot someone in the face, so I can kill as many people as I want, it's executive privilege"

Heil Hitlarry ! It's almost enough to make me believe in abortion , but I would have to have a time machine to go back and get it done so liberals would approve. Might even wait and do a late term procedure in this case so I'd recognize her and be sure.
