Well what is your favourite colour? Maybe go for that, I think nail polish comes in any possible colour. Maybe even do multi colours.
There is a clear coat that tastes awful so it gets you away from biting, my friend used it and said it worked great.

i'm painting my finger and toenails tonight! i have this great color called endless claret from sally hansen!
it's a no chip for 10 day nailcolor and it is so pretty! it's a pretty red shade!

Most shades of pink look girly and cute. I prefer something light and frosted on my finger nails.

Either pick your favourite colour or one that has meaning for you. I do mine to match my belt in my martial arts, as do most of the other gals at our dojo.

i like pinks and reds you can't go wrong with either, if your fair skinned, or fair haired pinks are pretty, darker looks good with red tones, just my opinion

Use my fav - Peru-b-ruby from OPI, it's a perfect blend of pink, red, and shimmer!
