Good luck getting a man to admit this. And also be prepared to get an answer saying that someone else was better than you. It's the way most are.

If you really were that wonderful a partner, you would have to be a wonderful person. You also would not be concerned with his "admission". Your sense of self-worth would not be affected in the slightest, either way.
The fact that you do seek his admission, and that you are here seeking some kind of validation as well, speaks of low self esteem. Otherwise you wouldn't need to have it fed. Putting him down for refusing to admit your "wonder", and putting down men in general for a similar attitude, just reinforces the truth.
He may, or may not, regret the loss. But he's better off without you.

OK, fine Kitty, twist my arm...yes, you were the best I ever had LOL...
Seriously, after all the dust settled, I would probably admit it. I might not shout it from the mountaintops, but I would admit it (meekly)...lol

the truth is I would probably tell you that if it was true or not,,, cause it would make you feel good, and in the future, you would know you could count on me to take care of you again (if you konw what I mean).

Actually he should say that to you in any case.
It's only common courtesy.
So should you of him, (to him of course).
