Could anyone please tell me about art restoration/conservation for a career?
I'm a junior in high school and I'm very interested in a career in art.
If I were to pursue art restoration/conservation as a career, what classes should I take now, how long would I have to go to college, (I know theres only 5 schools that have those programs in North America) and what is the average salary?

Thank you very much in advance!

Art conservations don't make a lot unless they work for a large museum. Whatever school I chose, I'd be sure it was in a city with a good classical painting museum so you could learn in school and outside. The Metropolitan Museum of Art has good classes and maybe even some advice on how to get a career in that field.
