I don't think a lot of people support him..
I haven't seen too much news on Mr. Chavez, but I heard, a while back, that the people we protesting him after he shut down the television news stations.
Hugo Chavez needs to be taken out of power in that country.

Anyone who promises people prosperity will be popular in countries that have a history of poverty. It will be much later, when these good people realize they have trusted a Dictator who was unworthy and then they will have paid the price. Look back in History, Germany, Russia, Cuba, etc. they trusted the deceivers and liars and paid the price.

Many, but not all, Venezuelans are very lazy.
So they prefer to have goods confiscated from the riches, rather than working hard.
By the way it is rumoured that Chavez pays people to surf the internet all day to whitewash him when someone posts something against him/communism.

you need to realize what you are seeing is whta they want you to see. this is not like u.s. they are shown only what the govt wants us to see and they show us only what they want. they also tell their people stuff. they do not hardly hear much except from like raido free europe. have you heard of that there are things that are like that. but most countries keep things inside and probably alot of them have no idea we have things like running water and stuff freedom i mean you have to just think back to olden days.

they may not see cuba, but they sure din't like what they see in the US.
