I learned my lesson ...
I loaned a best friend about $10K. I hope he is doing well, that @#$%&!
I am owed in all about $70,000 to 80,000 from various friends .. NOT EVER AGAIN!
You learn alot about people when they borrow money, and then disappear. I'm not as forgiving these days. :)

A neighbor sort-of-friend. I wasn't getting the money back, so stopped loaning

Never, I don't have any to loan, and everyone knows it. I also never borrow money either. Borrowing and lending just leads to too much aggravation and trouble.

Yes I have and I never got it back. But it's ok cuz Friendship is worth a heck of a lot more than Money.

Yes I did and I never got paid back and it has been over 5 years. It was not that much but it is the principle of the thing, that gets me. He kept telling me I will pay you back, but never came through. Live and learn.

I have, but never loan it to a friend expecting to get it back. Surprisingly with this friend, I did get it back!

nope, i make it a point not to lend or borrow from friends or family... i got screwed back in the day by my best friend and i'll never let it happen again!

Yes, and it wil never happen with that friend again. Two dollars... no big deal. $150... it's a big deal. It's one of those live and learn things.

not a friend just my sister over $3000 and all she said was I never asked for that money you just gave it to me..
I have been battered up and fried allot...
