California has got to be the most expensive place to live, yet there are thousands of imigrants that flock to the region. Is it because the weather, or work, what?

I live in the central coast region becuase of a job transfer,and this place is as expensive as hell to live in , and there are really no jobs out here, but the whole place is dominated by spanish. I am not rasist at all,I just don't understand how they can afford to live hear. Most of them look to be poor. My house cost me 450,000$$$ plus and I just don't see alot of them laying it down. There are some fields out here but not enough to support the whole town!!!

A lot of you seem to think that i'm stupid or something. I have lived in Missouri most of my life and jumped at the transfer to the coast. Don't get me wrong but I feel like the alien out here lol.

Because they think it belongs to them. Remember the Alamo? Of course not. I'm sure it's not in the Mexican school text books. I get tired of hearing Mexicans cry out saying "It was ours first!" or "It was the Indian's first!" That may be true, but their forgetting about one thing. We beat them for it. Yes folks, survival of the fittest. The strong survive and the weak always lose. I think it's funny when i see a Mexican in this country going around town with his little Mexican flag sticker in the back of his beat up car. I'm sitting their thinking "Yeah, this guy loves Mexico so much, that he had to come up here to make a living and put food on his kitchen table to feed his kids because his own country that he's so proud of let him down." People don't like Mexican immigrants for the simple fact that they don't wanna assimilate. If your a foreigner, and you come across the border holding your country's flag, not wanting to learn the homeland language, and not wanting to assimilate into the culture, your telling everyone from that country "Hey! I'm better than you!" All that's going to do, is to get people not respecting you or your cause. Mexicans don't think about stuff like this, and then they wonder why nobody likes them. Mexicans don't think period. Illegal immigrants would have no power in this country, if it wasn't granted to them BY the United States, and that's all there is to it.

all the members of the family work and they get money they are mostly in southern California and i think once they rent a place and with most of the members of the family working they can manage but in northern they have to do two jobs i think ,rates are higher,
the weather allows the to do outdoors jobs and all around the year so its a good place to live.

now not particularly. i am one of the most few white hispanics round right here "My profile", I consider he is aware of that already. Why else might he ask if there are extra white or local american watching ones? (the extra right time period might be indigenous on account that the indigenous men and women of mexico seem exclusive from the ones of the US) Ok why are a few men and women so indignant by means of this query? Dude, maybe you need to do some reading before you ask this kind of questions.. It is like this american guy in my sociology class asking if Mexicans were a minority group in Mexico.. and this happened in College !!!
