Driving age depends on what state you live in. In some states, you get your permit you're fourteen, your provisional license when you're 15, and your full license when you're 16. In other states, you get your permit when you're 16, your provisional when you're 17, and your full license when you're 18. There are a few other ages too, but it all depends on what state you live in. Check with your local DMV.

Well it depends on where you live and you have to pass Drivers Ed first and you have to get a permit before you can even get close to a Drivers Liscense. If You live in CA, or NV, other place too you have to be at least 16 But it might move up In the next year or so. If you live in TX or move there The youngest you can be is 15 but they are very strict about giving licenses out to 15yr olds. It basically just depends on where you live. Go to a search engine and type this in: What is The legal driving age in _____?? And put where you live Well what state.

State laws differ about what age you can be licensed to drive. 16 was once fairly standard, but there have been many changes since I had reason to care. As other have stated, your age does not entitle you to drive without getting a license. This answer is based on US law, but I suspect it is applicable in most countries.

It's not legal to drive at any age without a license, but yes, if you have a license, you can drive at 16 (though I believe there are restrictions, like no driving between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.).

It is only legal to drive once you have earned a driver's license. Turning 16 doesn't automatically give you the right to drive a car. Driving is a privilege, not a right, and you have to pass the test to prove you've earned that privilege.

If you get your permit at 151/2, and hold it for 6 months, then take the driven test when you turn 16, you can get your license at 16 (in California, that is, I'm not sure about elsewhere, check your state's Driver Handbook.)
