I'm sorry to say that Superman would win hands-down. That is unless LadyLinda brought her Velveeta cheesecake. Then he'd be in real trouble.

1. What is the background history to this horse...abuse,previous training/shows, neglect, illnesses, issues...etc? 2. What kind of food are you currently feeding and how much? 3. How much show and riding experience has the horse had? 4. Does the horses have any vices? 5. Is tack included...if not what bit is used and what width of saddle tree? 6. Has this horse ever been sick or lame? If so with what, and are any of the problems still existing? 7. Is the horse registered, can I have a copy of papers? 8. How does the horse trailer/vet/farrier etc. 9. Get a vet check 10. How is he with children, horses and other animals? 11. Does he jump 12. How senstitive is he, does he need a crop or spurs?...(although you should be able to determine this through your trial ride) 13. Does he crib, weave or chew? 14. How does he tie/lead (does he groundtie?) 15. How is he on trails? That's all I can think of...hope it helps good luck and also just because they don't offer a lease does NOT mean you shouldn't buy and that they are tricking you, it may just mean that they don't have room for the horse, or need the money and can't keep on with the horse, and that they want to keep the horse with them in case of another buyer. Just ask why they cannot offer you a lease.
