I was a teenager in the 70's when the hippies were going out of style and Saturday Night Fever, Jaws I and Rocky I were the biggest things to hit the screen.
Our jeans were bell bottoms, hip huggers(low riders today) and platform shoes. We went from having to wear dresses to school to jeans, t-shirts and sneakers.

You're a little premature to ask about either the 90's or the '00's as there needs to be some time to sort out all the trivia from the underlying theme.
